Doug Andrews has worked in the Landscape industry for more than four decades. He grew up in the San Antonio, Texas area in a ranching and urban Landscaping family. He received a BS from Texas Tech University in Agricultural Sciences, a Masters Degree in Agricultural Education from Texas A&M University, and another Masters Degree in Leadership, Management, and Organization.

Andrews worked for Texas A&M University out of the College of Agriculture as a County Extension Agent and County Extension Director in six locals across Texas. He retired as County Extension Director with Eemeritus status from Texas A&M University. While employed by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, he was involved extensively with research to developing new and improved plant varieties for Texas landscapes, cutting edge technology for disease and insect management, and educational activities to introduce homeowners, plant growers, and other industry professionals to new and improved products and methodologies.

He has won numerous local, state, and national awards as an educator. He has also been a beef cattle producer, a producer, and entrepreneur in Dallas County, Nueces County, McLennan County, Webb County, at Atascosa County, and Goliad County throughout his career with Texas A&M.

Doug and his wife started DSA Landscaping in 2012 in Dallas County and have continued to serve the landscaping and other outdoor construction needs of homeowners throughout the metroplex ever since its inception. DSA Landscaping is committed to customer service, water conservation, landscape management, and enhancing aesthetics and quality of outdoor living for its clients.
